You know what the problem is with stuff like mass marketed arugula, well they needed a product that was easy to clean and not to offensive to the largest section of consumer. So they came up with “baby Arugula ” to me it always missed out on the peppery sharpness of what makes Arugula so tasty as a great foil for things like sweet apples or goat cheese. Pairing it with a milder lettuce like iceberg or romaine always worked well to give a little punch and keep the crunch.
Well I’ll tell you what I love about working with local farmers they will grow to a chefs specs. And this is great. So we got some beautiful Arugula now and I’m loving it.Share on Facebook
